About the National CSR Awards

Rewarding new standards in Sustainability

The National CSR Awards celebrates business excellence and innovation in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability across a broad range of disciplines including Carbon Impact, Community Development, Staff Welfare, Energy, Education and Leadership; making it the only one of its kind in the UK.

It’s not just an Awards Ceremony…

In previous years, the Awards event has combined a full day of activities such as seminars, conference sessions and exhibitions; showcased to a National audience of sponsors, high profile judges, local businesses and National award entry guests.

The inaugural year, 2015, was hosted at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge and included a low carbon emission vehicle display, test drives and a exhibition of local and National CSR initiatives. The 2016 event saw a full day of conference sessions, paneled by business leaders and environmentalists, focusing on key environmental and social issues.

Award Categories

The award categories are re-visited each year. 2016 saw an introduction of several International categories, allowing UK or Global organisations to showcase their overseas activities. 2017, brings the additional focus of renewable energy and environmentally friendly products, as well as a FREE to enter ‘Grass Roots’ category to highlight those small local initiatives, often driven by an individual with a massive impact on it’s community.

SMEs, not-for-profit and large organisations will be judged not just on the size and impact of the project, but by the resources used within the business in order to deliver it. View our categories.

Credibility

The National CSR Awards is being run by [email protected]; a not for profit organisation in Brooklands, Weybridge that has five years experience in developing best practice and collaboration on a local level.

The Awards programme draws from the knowledge of a steering group of individuals with many years’ of experience in sustainability, CSR reporting, marketing and judging to ensure that the National CSR Awards remains effective, credible and keeps up with the latest trends in CSR. The Awards are judged by a panel of twenty four distinguished individuals, all who have the experience in the many areas of responsible business.

The awards will be promoted to a National audience, and our PR, marketing, communications will reflect this. Every element of the awards programme has been designed to provide entrants with National recognition for their superb CSR efforts.
